Feminine hygiene experiences aren’t uncommon. Period poverty, or inadequate access to menstrual hygiene tools and education, is a huge problem across the globe affecting girls, women and nonbinary and transgender people who menstruate. The Fierce, Feminine & Facet Community has set a goal to make as many care packages to distribute to members in our community.
We Got You Girl, Period began from a donation drive and has evolved into an annual community initiative. In 2021, the We Got you Girl, Period raised over $1,000.00 in monetary donations during the first campaign drive. The Fierce, Feminine Facet are hosting a Period Party on July 17th as a final push for the 2021 year. Hosting the Period Party as a community event to invite positive interaction, the Fierce, Feminine Facet are creating opportunity and awareness.
